This is fantastic. The eyes are incredibly realistic and detailed. The only thing that doesn't seem right is her fingers. They should be a little bigger at the base than the tip. Also, I think it would look even better if you added nails. But this is really good as it is. I love it. :)

This is really detailed and has a good creepy vibe, but it is incomplete. It needs a background and possibly a body to go with the head. There is so much white negative space, it overwhelms the image. It's a great start though. Those eyes are haunting & eerie. This could be the beginning of a great picture.

[The Adoption Process]

Interesting...

I like it when a picture or piece of art has a story behind it. This picture is interesting. I like how the subject of adoption is supposed to be happy, but in reality, I can imagine the ordeal was also scary at times. Well, congrats on your successful adoption!

Thank you, for both the kind words and review. I am glad its all over, the politics, the paperwork, and the flights in and out of hostile territory. But, I guess it was all worth while as we now have Margo. Perhaps next year we will do this again so she can have some siblings. :)

Not bad...

I'd work on the hair a bit. I'd give it some more detail. The proportions are off, but it looks intentional, and interesting, so I wouldn't change it. I love the eyes. Do something with the background and this could be a really good picture!

Thank you! I used a painting for some of this (I needed to know what Marie Antoinette looked like) so that might be where some of the faulty proportions are coming from.

And you know what? I'm going to add a background to my next picture, thanks for the idea.
